How should I prepare for my polygraph exam?
-Minimize/manage your stress.
-Sleep well the night before.
-Eat a light meal/snack before your polygraph (unless you cannot tolerate any food).
-Don't change your routine the day of your polygraph.
-Drink plenty of water before your appointment.

Martha Lugo is our polygraph examiner who holds a Master of Arts degree and currently a Ph.D. candidate. She is a Licensed Private Investigator in Colorado (# PI1.0000150). A seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in behavioral sciences including the criminal justice field - she’s a former probation officer and former psychotherapist. She is a graduate of the American International Institute of Polygraph in Georgia and has completed hundreds of polygraphs. She is listed with the Sex Offender Management Board as a polygraph exam provider for both adult and juvenile clients. She is authorized by the Colorado Department of Corrections (and Parole), the Colorado Division of Youth Services, and Colorado State Judicial (Probation). She is bilingual/fluent (Spanish/English), a native speaker and culturally competent.
Mission statements – our goal is to provide quality services to our clients without judgment. We endeavor to be a part of the solution and continually help our clients attain success throughout their criminal justice involvement.
Company policies –
- Cancellations - should it be necessary to cancel your polygraph, please provide 48 hours notice unless it is due to an emergency.
- Payment is due at check-in/registration.
- Please inform us of any fever, cough, flu-like symptoms, etc.
- Per state and Tri-County Health Department mandate, please wear a mask at all times while in our office.
Tips for Success When Taking a Polygraph Exam:
- Try to minimize/manage your stress.
- Sleep well the night before.
- Eat a light meal or a snack before your polygraph (unless your stomach cannot tolerate any food).
- Don't change your routine the day of your polygraph.
- Drink plenty of water before your appointment.

Normas –

Sugerencias Para Lograr Éxito en Su Polígrafo:
· Trate de minimizar y manejar su nivel de estrés.
· Duerma bien la noche antes de su polígrafo.
· Como algo liviano/alguna botana antes de su polígrafo (al menos que no lo pueda tolerar).
· No cambie su rutina el dia de su polígrafo.
· Tomar bastante agua antes de su cita.
